Augers and Drain Snakes

Choose from some of our favorite toilet augers and drain snakes in the product listings below. You may also be interested in viewing all of our professional grade toilet plungers.

Sometimes a plunger just isn't enough to clear a toilet clog, this is where drain snakes come in quite handy. Drain snakes are able to twist and tear their way through just about any blockage in your drain with relative ease.

They alleviate the need for a toilet plunger and high toilet repair bills. Their design makes it easy for everyone to learn how to use a auger pretty easily.

While there are several types of augers and snakes, our choice is a simple telescopic auger. They typically extend to 6 feet, often allowing for maximum clearance in your drain.

We have always found the drum augers to be least efficient and problematic at best. A common problem encountered with these are a bent and/or twisted/tangled snake line. Once the line bends, these units become worthless and unusable.

TOILET REPAIR HIGHLIGHTS

You may enjoy these random highlights from advice and information found right here on the My Clogged Toilet website.

There are certain things that can go wrong with a toilet that can cost a lot of money to fix, but some of these mishaps can be avoided.

You should plunge the toilet about seven to ten times and then try to flush it.

You want to make sure that there is no tubing that interferes with the fill valve, and if you thing that the tube may be a little too long you may have to cut some off.

If your toilet leaves water on the floor around it then more than likely your wax seal is leaking.
